Here are student scholarship opportunities for 2025-26!
We're awarding $7,500 in scholarships for students to pursue music outside of Belgrade Schools.
Applications due by April 15th!
Scholarship Details:
The Panther Music Boosters (Friends of Belgrade Music) invites Middle School and High School music students to apply to several scholarships for the 2025-26 school year. The scholarships are open to band, orchestra, and choir students, grades 5-12.
Instruments - 5 middle school or high school students will receive $500 each toward the purchase of an instrument for their personal use
Lessons - 5 middle school or high school students will receive $500 each to fund private music lessons
Camps - 2 middle school or high school students will receive up to $500 each to fund music camps
Seniors - 3 graduating Seniors will receive $500 each to fund their continuing music education in college
Application Information:
Application deadline April 15 at 11:59pm
Students, please fill out the online application for the scholarship(s) you are interested in. The application is essay style, so please write a short paragraph to thoroughly answer each question.
Applications MUST be written and submitted by the students. Parents may assist their student to ensure the application is filled out correctly, but PLEASE have the students fill out the applications in their own words. The use of AI to answer application questions will disqualify you from consideration. STUDENTS MUST RESPOND THEMSELVES.
Maximum 1 scholarship per student, per year.
If you received a Panther Music Boosters Scholarship in the 2024-2025 school year, you may still apply this year. However, in the event of limited funds, applicants that have not received a scholarship in the past, may be given preference in the case of all other application criteria being equal. Exception: Seniors may apply for the Senior scholarship even in they received a scholarship from us last school year.
All scholarship awards must be used by May 1, 2027 or funds will be forfeited.
Must be a student currently enrolled in a music program in Belgrade School District
Applications will be rated and selected by the Panther Music Boosters (Friends of Belgrade Music) Board members in a blind review process, eliminating student names from the application.
Scholarship recipients will be announced at the spring concerts and seniors will be recognized at the senior awards banquet.
