Scholarship Details:

The Panther Music Boosters (Friends of Belgrade Music) invites Middle School and High School music students to apply to several scholarships for the 2023-24 school year. The scholarships are open to band, orchestra, and choir students, grades 5-12. 

• Instruments - 5 middle school or high school students will receive $500 each toward the purchase of an instrument for their personal use

• Lessons - 5 middle school or high school students will receive $500 each to fund private music lessons

• Camps - 2 middle school or high school students will receive up to $500 each to fund music camps

• Seniors - 3 graduating Seniors will receive $500 each to fund their continuing music education in college

Application Information:

• Application deadline April 5 at 11:59pm

• Students, please fill out the online application for the scholarship(s) you are interested in. The application is essay style, so please write a short paragraph to thoroughly answer each question. 

• Applications MUST be written and submitted by the students. Parents may assist their student to ensure the application is filled out correctly, but PLEASE have the students fill out the applications in their own words.

• Maximum 1 scholarship per student, per year. 

• If you received a Panther Music Boosters Scholarship in the 2022-2023 school year, you are NOT eligible to apply this year.

• All scholarship awards must be used within 12 months.

• Must be a student enrolled in Belgrade School District

• Applications will be rated and selected by the Panther Music Boosters (Friends of Belgrade Music) Board members in a blind review process, eliminating student names from the application. 

• Scholarship recipients will be announced at the spring concerts and seniors will be recognized at the senior awards banquet.
